The Last Iced Coffee Recipe You'll EVER Need!

It is SO HOT!
Too hot to NOT have something ice cold in your hand at all times!

I love Iced Coffee.
No...  I Love Creamy Iced Coffee.
I Love Creamy and Sweet Iced Coffee.

But...

I HATE paying over $4 a glass for it at some fancy-schmancy coffee house!
Not to mention the fact that I live out in the boonies.
There are NO Fancy-Schmancy coffee houses out in my pasture!
I KNOW!  Sob for me... It's a terrible tragedy!

anyway...

I've tried and tried to duplicate the sweet & creaminess of  my coffee-house drink many... MANY times.
Each time, I ended up with watered-down coffee with milk. YUCK

Last month, the Man-of-My-Dreams and I took the kids into town to get them sno-cones.
I decided to order a root-beer float sno cone.
This sno-cone had root-beer syrup and was topped with a wonderful "Sweet Cream".
It was Ah-Maz-Zing!
So wonderful, in fact, that I forced the poor 15yr old boy working the stand to tell me how it was made.

It is so simple!
So versatile!
So YUMMY!
I knew I could find a use for this sweet cream.
And I DID!
It makes the perfect Creamy-Sweet Iced Coffee!
And I'm gonna show ya how to make it yourself!
The full recipe and step-by-step pictures can be found on my cooking blog "Craving Comfort"

*NOTE* some people are having trouble getting the above link to load..
here is the direct address of the recipe, ENJOY!

  4. YAYYYYYY! I've been looking for an iced coffee recipe for a while now!! Thanks!

  5. OK I made it this morning and WOW if someone had brought it to me in one of those expensive white cups with a certain name on it I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. This is AMAZING tasting and very easy to make. If you want a frappacino then run this thru the blender like I did. I had caramel syrup in the cupboard from the last time I tried to make frappacinos and failed.

Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I love your blog and I too got here from pinterest.

  6. I forgot to add that I didn't have the Pet Milk so for this week I used whole milk till I get back to the grocery store and it is still AMAZING!

  8. Just made this. But I was lazy and just used espresso. I asked someone at Starbucks and they said they use cold espresso to avoid it being bitter. They just pour it in last over the ice, milk, etc so it cools instantly so I did it that way. Anyway, this was EXCELLENT!!! LOVE IT! Thanks!

  20. I'm making it now...can't wait to try it! For those still needing the recipe, saturate 1 pound of coffee grounds in 1 gallon of water overnight. The next day, strain it and keep the coffee in the fridge. Combine a can of evaporated milk and a can of sweetened condensed milk and keep in the fridge. Pour the two mixtures together over ice and voila...iced coffee. :) hope that helps those of you who can't get the links to work...this is a brilliant recipe!

  30. I used distilled water, let it "proof" overnight and poured up what I needed to get started on the beautiful Arkansas Sunday morning. WOW! The sweet cream alone is worth the wait as well as to die for. I typically only drnk the frozen coffee drinks, but I'm on 2nd & 3rd (big tervis) glasses. I'll definitely be awake in church this morning. Like a sweet alcoholic drink...you won't know hat hit ya until after the fact; have to emind mysef of the caloric intake with that sweet cream. GREAT JOB!

  31. It's true that most coffee in the grocery stores don't come in 1 lb containers anymore, usually 12 or 13 oz; so, put your 12 or 13 oz bag into 3 quarts of water then proceed from there. (12 oz being 3/4 of a lb, and 3 quarts being 3/4 of a gallon.)

I did the 1 bag of Coffee and 12 cups of water. and it was a pain to strain. so next time I'm going to turn the coffee filters into "tea bags" n try it that way. just let it soak longer.

same time I want the best quality for my website visitors.

  65. Hi,

    This comments is for webmaster.

I found that your website is missing out a large number of traffic every day which is making you looser. And do you know why Wal-Mart, Financial Time, British Telecom, BSkyB, ITV, McDonalds etc...are the top players? Because, they have millions of traffic on there site.

I have a 'new' traffic machine which is a complete step by step system, DIRECT linking, with or without landing pages. You can send mass targeted traffic to your own offers or even affiliate offers. This works across the board. This is where even the absolute beginner can generate exponential rapid and insane amounts of traffic where you once thought wasn't possible and trust me, it's 100% WITHOUT Google, Yahoo or Bing. Oh yeah and even Google ADWORDS!

  66. now it is june 2016 and yesterday i did iced coffee but had to use whatever was handy around the house. I had some almond coffee syrup. used about 3 tbl of that plus vanilla extract, plus 2 Tbl of real vermont maole syrup, 4 packs of stevia. I also just used whole milk and frothed it first before adding the coffee over ice and it was yummy...My cold pressed coffee was expresso grind about 2 cups and 2 quarts of cold water. It was still very good am afraid to use half and half cause I know i would love it I plan to use almond milk next time around.. I like mine strong..
